John Fogerty of CREEDENCE CLEARWATER REVIVAL fame used both 320-series Rickenbackers and shortened Gibson Les Pauls for most of the CCR period. Yes, he had Les Paul Customs chopped and reheaded!

One of the guys from Stereolab uses a Mustang
Isaac Brock from Modest Mouse used to use a Jag-Stang
The guy from Portishead used a Jaguar on the live DVD
