fender hot rod owners: foot-switch cable

hey, do any peeps who own these know if you can get/make a longer foot-switch lead? can i just use a stereo jack to jack cable? need it to be longer for on stage.

It wasn’t for a Hot Rod, but my old band-mate made an extension cable using a stereo male/female 1/4" jacks and regular electrical cable.

Yh I think they're stereo leads, tends to be what two button footswitches use. I'm sick of the shit cable my AC30s footswitch came with so I might get a Award Session Cleartone stereo lead. Their stuff is insane value just a heads up.

stupid me, forgot it's just a mono lead. dug out me spare guitar leads and it works a treat with one of those.

Yeah just a normal guita cable. I've used the pedal lead through my guitar when my original guitar cable broke.
