Well, except I've been on a pauper's SIM only contract which I can cancel or upgrade any time.

Been waiting for the right moment!

Now if it could record the riffs....
That would quite the solution.

There are a lot of multitrack programs for the iPhone that I'm sure can record the audio.

I'd make sure the app was in the App Store for your country first but that shouldn't be an issue at all. This is cooked and almost ready to come out of the oven.

As far as a stomp box iPhone goes, I did drop and step on mine on a business trip and it was NOT pretty. So I don't recommend getting carried away :)
Peter, is the adapter only available through yourselves?

At this time, there are some dealers and distributors starting to carry it and I'm not sure who is taking preorders right now. I'll keep you posted.

iPod Touch and WiFi? That could work. Or iPad if you want bigger and have no use for a cellular data plan. Personally, I'll probably pick up an iPad without 3G here, saves a LOT of cash doing so and I wouldn't really use it places without WiFi much.

Looks and sounds brilliant!

Seeing as Android's market share has now overtaken that of the iPhone, is a compatible version more likely?

Well this had been the original report, albeit based on sales of devices in Q1 this year.

But the follow up, relating to the Nielsen figures, suggests otherwise

My mistake.

Haha. I think all of these reports should be taken with a pinch of salt. Still, 100 million iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch devices is pretty crazy.

The first report is the sales in Q1 2010.

The second report is how many people actually have the things.

So 'droid is selling better but still a ways behind.

We definitely keep our eye on the market, and the viability of audio apps in the market segments.

Oh, and only two days to go! You'll be able to give this a listen soon. On your own device!
