Both of those parts should come right off, use your brain dude.
The traditional shortscale welcome for an entirely legitimate question. How nice.
I was gonna say but that was out of character for Haze, he must've been having a bad day.
Terribly sorry for my unwelcoming response. It was a bit of a shit day and i was admittedly not myself.

You got yourself a great deal in my opinion. Assuming the Jaguar is in good enough condition, a TOM bridge, Buzzstop AND Duncan pickups are basically all of the improvements i would make to a CIJ jag if i were to rock one. You're is ready for action!

Again, sorry for my daft words, and welcome to shortscale. You'll like it here, we have Englishmen.

Think It's a hiscox hard case?
Those are nice cases I believe. You can't get them in the US though.

I have the covers going to put them on once the set up Is complete, Would it be worth setting up with the tunomatic? the top string seem's a little off but the seller did say have a set up to be fair to him, I just love the feel of the thing!

I have a very similar guitar with an added TOM (VERY crudely done) and I love the shit out of it. By all means string it up/set it up and rock it until you're sure you want to change it. Might be fine as-is.
