I really want one: while pedalboard real estate isn't an issue for me (they all live under the sofa on a colossal Gorm pedalboard anyhow), I think it sounds great, and I've always wanted a spring loaded wah. Ace design, very impressed.

Smart design indeed! Although, I can forsee problems with it moving around your pedalboard, since you're directly apply force, rather than just rocking your foot on a pivot.
I'd say the delay between the pedal returning to the zero point to switching off could be a little shorter to make for more seemless changes, but it's certainly pretty nifty, definitely an improvment on having to go TOE DOWN TO TREBLETOWN each time you want to click a standard wah off.
Hopefully they'll extend the design to other types of pedals that aren't lame.

This is pretty much my assessment too.Doog wrote:Smart design indeed! Although, I can forsee problems with it moving around your pedalboard, since you're directly apply force, rather than just rocking your foot on a pivot.

I don't have a lot of use for wah in general, so I won't get one, but it's a neat idea.

Switchless wahs ensure you only use wah the boring way and thusly are shit. I do like the slightly adventurous design of this but don't see myself using it, nor another effect benefiting from the rocker design.

I like to set my volume control at a certain spot too much. Especially since i put my Sun Face after it. A spring loaded treedle like this wouldn't make for a good volume pedal for most players. I think Morely made one recently but it wasn't near as small as this still.Dingus wrote:Now if they'd just make a volume pedal in this shell and sell it for like $100 less they'd make a killing.
