I got a Schecter of all things

Post by gaybear »

but i really really like it.

but i can't find out too much about it.
everyone i find online is slightly different.

it's diamond series (which i think is budget?)
it has a les paul like pick guard.
it has coil tapping, which is sweet.
it has the goofy ace of spades card inlay, which actually isn't that bad in real life
it has a different headstock than alot of them.

binding.

string though

set neck

2 humbuckers.

kinda like this guy, but with more chrome, less black (hardware), and the pick gaurd

http://www.musicianscentre.com/schecter ... h3409.html

most of them have 2 or 3 knobs, mine has four.

anyhoo, i love it, but wondered if any of y'all who are better at research can tell me more about it.

i got it for 230 with a case, which as far as i can tell is a decent deal

One of my friends got one of those a little while ago. It sounded pretty nice, even though I wasn't a fan of the looks.

haha, hte headstock isn't as wanky IRL

the wankiest bit is the blackjack inlay, though i find my self playing around the 12th fret alot more now. haha

anyhoo, i'm loving the action on this more and more.

combo of les paul and ibanez
sounds weird, but it's a good comfy combo.

schecter diamond series are pretty good, I had a Gryphon-7 it was a seven string and it sounded good for a $400 dollar guitar, but I traded it in last month to go towards a custom short scale guitar project I'm getting built. But any ways that guitar looks sweet.
