Just installed a cool rail (twin-stripped magnet) pickup in the bridge position of my jag for a change.
Would covering it with a regular jag pickup cover deaden the sound in any way or alter the output ?

other than possibly having to lower it to compensate the 3mm of plastic i don't see how said 3mm of plastic would interfere substantially.

For the record, I definitely noticed a high end decrease when I put Robroe covers on my Strat, even with the pickups at the same height.
I say give it a bash, let us know!
