It is inspired by the Oyster Bay race on the NES game; the Bigfoot Crunch Arena playset; Yves Klein; Kazimir Malevich's Suprematism paintings (the cars are painted and arranged to resemble some of his paintings); and Bauhaus design/architecture.
It consists of OSB for the floor; aluminium foil tape for the cars (they are crushable and can be remoulded); sea sponge trees with metal trunks; wooden walls; ramps and props made of Celluclay, Coroplast, and foamcore board.
The track is completely modular, so just about any configuration you can imagine is possible. The garage is very clean and minimal -- complete with toolboxes and lights.
Usually, I make fictional sponsors for these types of projects; but this time I chose to just use geometric shapes, much like the subliminal advertising once used in Formula One to bypass the tobacco advertising restrictions.
I will soon have a video of the track in action once I get a Ford body completed for the truck.
