Might just be the short horns, the squaredness of the shape, and the single ply pickguard, but that reminds me a bit of the Epiphones that rob is really in to.

Has that had the bottom end if it squared off or do you think that's just the straight edge of the case that's making it look that way?

yeah, it looks squared off, doesn't it. I think it's just the case though. the normal blazer shape would be just like that but more round at the bottom.

if you rotate the second picture, you can see that it's leaning against the top of the open case, sitting inside it.

would absolutely love the look of that guitar if it was squared off at the bottom and not just resting in the case.
