I've seen some ugly things in my time but this about takes the cake, all the biscuits and at least half of the pie.
So the natural next question is, can anyone beat this for sheer vomitousness?

If those were cubic zirconium chunks on the top and the context was "my teen daughter's first bass", the only thing upsetting would be desecration of a vintage piece.

Apparently it was found by someone looking at "Employee, salesman and sample" basses from Fender (They didn't give the source unfortunately) so I guess they haven't actually disfigured a classic production instrument, which is more I can say for that green guard on the...with the...arghh... WTF?
