Guitar identification

Post by James »

I was flicking through some of the photos I took in America and this red guitar caught my eye. With the split f holes, headstock shape and inlays I'm sure someone knows this one off-hand.

Nah it was on top of a cabinet, which was on top of another cabinet. Way out of reach. And there was too much good accessible stuff (it was in house of guitars, NY) to bother asking them to take anything down. I didnt even really notice that guitar until now. I took the photo for the tele elite.

If it is a flame headstock, than more than likely it is a Kay.

It's uglier than I thought it'd be. It looks like the one I saw was a flattop and that suits it better.

I have always had my eye out for one of these. Never happened across IRL. Red Flame-top.

Thats from Subway Guitars, I got my 73 Bronco from there a little over a month ago, not sure what type of guitar that red one is though, but it looks sweet.
