The other guitarist in my band just got one of these - it's rather nice, but we've issues with the headroom as well. His Mustang 69RI (low output pickups) is the only guitar that doesn't have a nasty crunch when plugged in. We have to use the 2nd input (which is usually matched for high output pickups, right?) to get it to stay clean. And it's not a tubey, overdrive sound. It's just distortion on the input. Does anyone have any experience with this or know what can be done?
