Greco - Framus Copy?

wow, this early Greco from the mid-60s looks like it's copying a Framus Strato Deluxe, of all things.

ooh, that first one is lovely.

not sure the dual pickup framus above has been modded (unless you know something i don't), they did seem to make endless varieties of those strato deluxes. i've only seen one other exactly the same as mine.

That red one was for sale on eBay Uk. I remember thinking it was really clean and had such a cool color.

Maybe I'm just not buying into the whole design aesthetic thing but that headstock is bloody hideous.

Some notable guitar players that have used Greco guitars include Ace Frehley who used Greco Les Paul replicas when Kiss were on tour in Japan and Elliot Easton of The Cars.
