You're lucky yours is on two pieces.

I count about 8 planks on this Hag body that I stripped years ago. The pink is the original undercoat. Nice huh?

Actually looking back the original finish wasn't too bad. Nowadays I'd just buff this shit and leave it alone. Guess I cunted that up.
Notice a finish crack at a couple of the joins. Even after refinishing these reappeared.

Yeah, the previous owner hadn't sanded down trough the pink primer everywhere.
Wherever there was primer left, the black paint was SUPER hard to take off. My arms are actually sore today from sanding.

I think I'm gonna end up sanding down the rough areas (of which, there are... quite a few) and respray/clear it.
Going to wait for my arms to stop hurting, though.

Looks great to me. Nice color choice. Also, buy a Black & Decker Mouse sander. One of the handiest power tools I've ever bought.

Looks cool. I think it'd be cooler if you made it a bit more seventies, like with a matching black headstock or blocks on the fingerboard or something. Maybe more chrome would do it.

It looks class as it is though.
