I nearly bought one of these the other day. A white T-40 that popped up locally.
I'd been musing with the idea of putting together a cheap bass rig, and this is exactly the kind of 70s craziness I dig.
(not this one, but one like it)
Must stay strong. Must not dip into the new amp fund. argh.

Oh dear god thats been mangled, if its super cheap I would maybe consider it for all the parts and buy a new body though.

$425 for that and two knockoff violin type basses is probably worth it if you're into violin basses in a big way but since I'm not joining a Beatles tribute band anytime soon I think I'll skip it.

those peavey basses sound really awesome. that one looks awful, i cant imagine why anyone would think that cutting off parts of it at random would be a good idea.
maybe he just got too excited about a new band saw.
