Oh everybody does it until one day they look down and say "What are these wire looking thingies all over the front of the guitar. Oh hey, look - when you hit them, they make a noise!" Then one of two things happen. Either you go "Cool! I wonder what other noises I can make" or you go "Bugger this for a game of soldiers! This looks hard!" Then you clutter up craigslist or ebay or cash converters with yet another "Hardly played!!!1!" beginner's guitar.

Looks nice.

No I'm kidding, Arion SAD-1. Boss sized and good. I had one, back in the golden days when I lived with my mum and had a job and a band. It was cracking and stereo too. PDS/RDS delays are great from my experience too, but rare and now coveted by guitar nerds around teh internetz and have the coooooooool infinite delay shizz. Also DD-20, also any of the DOD Delays (they all fucking rock. I've never had a single bad pedal delays wise from those guys.)

Also the Echopark and the Digidelay, there both great and both do what you want. Switchable trails on the Echopark too. Not so sure about the Digidelay there, I think it might have been the reason I got rid...

ALSO, if you wanna be really Avantgarde... Maneco LANK

Anyone of these will have me sleeping in your dustbin. Not as off putting as it sounds, I'm biodegradable.

SAD-1s are loooooovely - let one that one of my students was selling slip thorough my fingers once (in the very early, very skint days of new dad...), but warm, analogue delays. Not sure if they'll suit the Creme Brulรƒยฉe sound...

Haaaaaaaaaaahahaha, you fucker. Yeah, they're on the warmer sound for sure, I want SOULESS REPEATS.

I've been looking at so many fucking demos; all of the GLX/Beta Aivin/Boston Engineering/etc "Boss copies" have a shitty split second of silence when disengage- fuck that noise, at least I'm not considering them now.

The DOD DFX-9 is pretty cool, albeit a bit analogue sounding at long repeats. Although, it has a neat "infinite repeat mode" for proper flawless playback, similar to the DD-3s hold mode in function.

I hadn't til you suggested, no!

But, alas, it has that same irritating "Blend" control like on my Stereo Memory Man, meaning you can't get your delay balanced with your clean without a volume drop. Shame really, it looked pretty useful and straightforward.

I've got one. My ears can't really tell the difference between the two though, it's about as digital as it gets for me and I think it sounds great...

Just a suggestion, mind.
