There's a Vox AC30 CC2 on eBay, 15 miles away from me, for (atm) £299. Worth a buy? My other guitarist has a CC1 and I was originally gonna look for something else but this seems like it could be good. He seems a bit way of it because he said the speakers are rubbish and the tubes may be on their way out.

Opinions?
Yes.

I've got a hotrod deville and its pretty good, though I can see it being seen as kind of bland. I dunno, I think its a good amp for my needs. I've been toying with the idea of hopping on the bassman 10 bandwagon, but I've just been too broke. Most guitar shops should have a hotrod series fender for you to play with and see if its what you want.

Get a line 6 spider II. I'm telling you, once the secret gets out how awesome they are, the prices will sky rocket...just by association to fran you can add like 40%

They do the cleans and take pedals like lovely.

I've got 50p. that says that Line 6 thing ends up in the Classifieds within three months. No way it can live up to the pressure of expectation you've placed it under. Poor little thing...

I've gone through a few amps in the past few years - DRRI, AC30CC1, 5E3(my fav), and here's what I'm getting now

http://www.littledawgamps.com/amps_topdawg.php

I've always wanted one and am getting it. If the Fender ReIssues weren't shite I'd be happy with the DRRI or the LTD 59 Bassman but not a chance. The great thing about the tweed bassman above all the others is it's the same circuit that was in the first Marshall the JTM45 or better yet the JTM45 has the same circuit as the 59 Tweed. So you can get great Fender Cleans, Nice Bluesy OD, or blast it and get great crunch. Any bassman is great and you can snag a great bf or sf for a great price. Either way, go bassman ;).

This may be a nice cheaper choice as well
