Made this video to have projected on my band, Hookworms, when we play live. For our past few gigs we've just been using films but I decided this will look better and it's pretty fun to make. The final thing will be about 45 minutes long so this is just a 5 minute snippet. It got a little pixelated when I was uploading it but you get the gist of it.
[EDIT: can't work out how to embed videos from Vimeo so here's a LANK
Hit me up with some feedback/tips. It's my first time at trying this but I think I am specializing in film making at college this year so tips are always handy
thank you!!
trippy video

Nice work mr thickarms! Hipgnosis would be proud
I know this is a bit of an old post, but if you're still after content to play around with, there's tons here : http://www.archive.org/details/movies - especially in the Prelinger Archives. Bizarre and trippy stuff by the gigabyte, especially when you start playing with the colours etc. I've used quite alot of it myself in some little promos I've put together.
Free stock footage sites are also good places to dig around - you can often pick up interesting looping backgrounds and textures for layering up with other clips ...
