What Guitar Is This?

Pulled Apart By Horses (who are one of my favourites) have a new video, and they all seem to be playing new guitars in it. The singer, Tom, has used an SG on every clip I've ever seen of them, but here he's using some kind of weird Jazzmaster copy I think? It looks really cool whatever it is, anyone have any ideas?

Does in fact look like that, but with something different in the neck position.

I think given they all smash their guitars during this video, it might be safe to say they are just the cheapest things they could find. Hard to say though. The bassist is playing a gibson grabber base (I think thats what it is? I don't really follow that stuff) so that was a bit painful to see. I reckon the other two were just cheap craigslist finds or something for the shoot.

I don't think it was a grabber (?)

It's got a music man neck.

I've now been told by a friend that these were guitars given to them purely for the purposes of being smashed up in this video. I feel stupid... My childlike innocence told me that maybe they weren't actually smashing the guitars and it was all special effects. On watching it more carefully I notice the neck falling off the Wesley, yeah I doubt that's special effects, silly me!

You are right, it definitely isn't a grabber. I can see that being a musicman but I definitely don't know which one. I like the look of it though!

you can't really blame me for thinking it may be a grabber though! considering the quick clips, it looks pretty close!

Yeah the bass is most likely OLP or something.

I hate seeing instruments smashed in videos...it's like premeditated and stuff. When it's done live it feels more chaotic and energetic....videos are just like air guitar and lipsynching so smashing guitars doesn't look as rock and roll

Regardless of when its done, live or on video, I just feel like its such a waste of an instrument.

I do however have one exception to the rule, in the form of a blast from my past.
