Hurb: nah, 30 quid and a ds-2?
Line 6 dude: em......
Hurb: common mate there 60 quid new them ds-2's and kurt used em!
Line 6 dude: ...alright.

You should have just pointed out how much taller you are, then carried the amp home in your palm.

I once said I wouldn't play 40 quid for a second hand EH Octave Multiplexer cause it only had 2 rubber feet. I got it for £30.

solid state just means something uses transistors rather than tubes. digital means the analog signal (a sound wave represented by alternating current) is converted into an approximation of the wave using 1s and 0s.

yes, witches gather around a bubbling digital to analog converter and throw in some 1s and 0s to conjure up the devil's music. if you listen very closely to your line 6 you can hear them chanting their cursed verses.

Big thanks go to fran for opening my eyes to the amp. I would have never even looked at the amp had it not been at progfest this year. So cheers mate.
