Hollow Stratmaster

Post by Mo Law-ka »

Here's my latest ongoing project.
I have had this since I helped the Robert(og) move out. He made the body and I'm in the process of actually completing it.
Here goes:
Jazzy Trem and Bridge
Hollow strat body
Knock-off Neck (which will be replaces with a dots-and-binding neck eventually)
No pickguard or pickups yet, but here's what I'm thinking:
I have a pair of lipstick tube pickups from GFS. I'm gonna wire it up as such: Bridge & Neck with a stacked pot for master volume and tone, a 3-way switch and output all on the guard.
Here's what I still need to decide: the color. I have, so far, a tort guard and a white guard. What color should I paint it?

Looks beautiful, but this is the first time I've actually got a JPEG stuck in my eye.

I have a GFS lipstick in the bridge of my Bighead strat and it's marvelous. Not what it says on the tin, but better than most similarly priced and clearly-marked strat tins.

Great concept, check out Cole Clark guitars in Australia they make a model that is really similar.
