why spend 20 bucks on a wall hanger with some guitar company on it when you can get this for a dollar.

I have a couple of those except they take two screws into a back plate and the ends curve up. Otherwise they work fine and have no problem holding my guitars. Also no adverse effects on the different guitars that have hung upon them though I would only put the electrics on there as i believe that the acoustics are too deep.

Be careful with the plastic coated hangers, you may get a reaction between the plastic coating and finish on the neck of a lacquer vintage guitar. I'd wrap the hanger in a soft cloth to be safe. I've laid lacquer finished guitars on a plastic coating wire shelf that you can pick up from Home Depot and got a bad reaction. I make my own hangers too.

That's where I hang a 10 and 15 lb sledge in my storage shed so yea, guitar will work. Just put a washer up against the wall.

You will still need to buy a crib, Mr. Thrifty.

I was going to try some of those. I have a few that use those plastic drywall anchors and they get loose after a while. Too much torque!

i brought one of these home from work yesterday.

its really small. i can jam my bronco neck on it and its tight as fuck. the thing is fucking steel too. i haven't had a chance to bend it apart a little but im guessing my pussy ass arms wont be able to do it with common pliers or vice grips
