i like the body, but the pickguard is haggard and poorly thought out.

sounds great, and the fact that it uses a strat neck rules because you could do an rosewood. but for that kind of price, it should have one already. as well as a nice looking scratchplate.

Just glancing at it, it looks like a shortscale Squier '51 to me. I haven't watched the video, mind.

I think the design is pretty lazy to be honest. Do something new, stop repeating Leo Fender's good ideas and his mistakes.

I'll agree with that. I like it though, but the price is pretty unjustifiable.

I love that they call the 2 grand price tag a "nice introductory price to get it out there".

Dreamworld, fellas.

you could build something like that for under a grand easy, AND the pick guard wouldn't look like a jagstang reject.

I don't think the pickguard would be that bad if it fit the top horn better and had a tele style control plate.

This would be cooler if it was an SX design that cost $150.

Yea the pickguard looks awful. but that's all I can find wrong with it. It follows the bottom horn really well, but then it gets all wonky on the top horn. and yes... it does look like a noho.
