Oh man, Johnny Marr interviews are always so strenuous.
That said, those '57 reissue Champs do sound awesome.
I remember playing one at the music store a while back, when my buddy was looking for a small amp for recording.
The '57 was setup in the same area as the champion 600, the Gretsch variant, the XD and the Vox AC4TVs.
I was like "HOLY SHIT, YOU HEARING THIS? BUY THIS ONE!"

Then we found the price tag. :(

"No Mr Marr, we can't leave the interview at 3 minutes long. It must be 7 minutes and 40 seconds as we agreed, that's what we paid you for. Just repeat what your said in a slightly different way."

That was the most dreadful interview: Owen was spot on - twice round the block for Mr Marr...

Jesus, there's a whole series of them; Marr playing through various Fender amps and sharing broken thoughts and sentences with us. Brrrrriiiilliant.

Sometimes a rough "fly-on-the-wall" edit works, but oft-times just makes your protagonist look like a bit of simp. Maybe I just don't like him, I don't know. I certainly don't like his haircut.

Long interview but at least the Jaguar looked and sounded good. I laughed at the constant Fender amp money shots!
