I've been after a reverb pedal for a while, since I knew I was getting the Bassman in fact. I tried James' RV-7 which was a really nice pedal, but at the end of the day I only really want a nice spring reverb setting. Demos and reviews of the FRV-1 made me think that it was the pedal for me.
Finally scored one on the bay of e, and it came this morning. Sounds lush. Just what I was after.
Couple pics:
Not at all, I got it for £74 plus £8 shipping although the postage was only £3.10 which is rather annoying. But it's the first one I have seen come up second hand.
The cheapest new one I found was £99 shipped.
I'm going to be selling my RV-7 at some point before I move to America. I haven't thought about when but as I'm selling my last amp in the next week any time is fine really.
Nice purchase Thom...I picked up one of these about a month or so ago and couldn't be more happy with it... It's ideal for the surfy stuff I'm trying to do, but sounds cool on top of a bit of drive too... Altho I have noticed it can get a bit ice picky if you start taking the tone past half way...

Nice one, hearing that makes me more sure I made the right choice.
Know what you mean about the tone knob, have got it at about 9 - 10 o'clock.
