Super Awesome Fender at My Friends store!

Post by westtexasred »

I want it so hard!

" Player grade Brown! A 1961 brown Fender Super chassis loaded into a blonde Fender Pro cabinet from the same era. It sounds soooo cool, complete with phase shifter-esque vibrato!"

I'm not sure what the speaker is. I think the price tag says $1300.

In light of the evidence directly above me here, the amp in the original post is likely a 1x15", as that's what the pre-CBS Pros were.

Cool stuff. I love me those 15s.

I love this amp because it has the "Harmonic Vibrato" circuit that sounds like this

OK, some corrections about the origin of this amp.It is a 1961 Fender Super 6G4-A(Link)) chassis.

In a 1961 Fender Pro 6G5(Link) cabinet

It came from a studio in Nashville here the last owner bought it as is 30 years ago

The Super is mostly original but one of the transformers was changed to allow it fit in the cabinet with a 4 ohm 15 inch speaker.

Nice amp!

Also Genesis/Megadrive is the best version of Ms Pac Man on a home console. What's the game under it?

Awesome game, I've got it too-thought it looked familiar (though my copy is cart-only at this point).

Do you cycle amps like you do guitars or is this a keeper?
