I think so. I could try it out for you tomorrow and get back to you.

I'm a noob with amps. But, the Vox VT15 works well for me in a townhome situation.

haze, if you don't want a vox that looks like it came out of zakk wylde's arsehole, get the pathfinder. make sure you get one with reverb. they sell all day on ebay for $60 or so.

Seriously great jazz amp, I loved the tone it produced with my hollowbody. The drive sound sucks though.

On the topic of vox amps I know this is a bit of a thread hijack but does anyone like the AC4? I know there was a thread about it but I'm just being brief.

Agreed, the ADVT series looks like absolute schmutz.
However, the early incarnations of that design, the VTX, looked pretty awesome.

I think these may have gotten too expensive now which is weird, considering the guts are essentially the same as the ADVTs but not so weird when considering how much better they look.

I didnt have time today to demo anything (lots of repairs and warranty help today)... It seems Haze has found a love with the Bugera anway so I think I will do the demos as I have time and just make a practice amp thread to put them in.

BIN'd a Pathfinder 15r today, we'll see!
Also picked up a pair of Sony "Studio Monitor" headphones with an active eq/bass boost thing and a 1/4" adaptor. Sounds alright, but the $15 Skull Candy ones i also got for ipod listening sounds even better [?] Mainly because they're tucked snug in my ear. damn things, have to return the sony's i think

you should try it in a shop. i didn't like it at all, however i didn't like 1 and 5 watt modes either - it just gets all farty.

i have a vox night train with 12" blackheart cab, i use it in my apartment and i love it. but before that i had a vox amplug that i plugged into cheapo yamaha solid state amp, and it sounded really good, i mean, i liked that sound far more than "tube" bugeras v5 and v22.

Interesting you say the crunch channel sounds bad, I love the crunch on mine(although mine is the 75 watt II if it makes a difference?) Although it took some tweaking to get it right I think it sounds great.

After some tweaking I can get a nice crunch out of it, but that'll only be one or two settings. Also there might be current models (amp sims) between the II and III
