It's a more a future tense type thing. Gonna get one of those blacktop jazzys. Might wanna put a green pearl guard on it.

Not to try and derail this thread, but to finish up the detail a little and report recent events. Shortly after I arrive in America (which is on the 14th) I'll be meeting up with robert to pick up the guitar in it's unfinished state in order for me to cross the t's and dot the lower case j's myself. Hopefully we'll see this project finished yet.James wrote:Robert, I just sent you a another message on facebook about it.
For those concerned (which seems to be a lot), I got the bulk of the money back last night/today after a couple of paypal hiccups. You lot will definitely be told when it's fully resolved and since making the thread in the pub robert has been making an effort to put things right.
Shabba.

Hey there Robert!
I am also in the plain ol' jazzmaster quote camp. I was thinking about tracking one down in Mahogany, however if that proves impossible, then alder or something would work out just dandy.
Also, how much would a black jazzy pickguard cost, with a jag style bottom half? As in, the three switch plate on the bottom, and no volume / tone, just the cut out for the volume tone plate.
Brandon and I live quite close geographically, so we were talking about putting in a bit of a group order with you. A group order of two.

I appreciate your Wayne's World II reference. I may watch them both this weekend for that matter.James wrote:
