I'd own this just to get up peoples noses but would never pay a lot for it nor would I do it myself. MEGALEL at the lack of route under the bridge, the old routes left 'as-is' and also the piss poor enlargement around the Pups.
Not as cool as Pank floyd rose strat jack Mustang. Can't find a pic alas but most of you know the one I mean.

That's probably the second ugliest Mustang I've ever seen. Personally, I can't stand Floyd Roses. I switch tunings way to much to have a Floyd Rose set up.
Bronco Bass
Squier Strat w/Hot Rails,
flea market nylon classical,
Ibanez bass w/Quarter Pounder X 2
Union Jack DC Epiphone LP

I have nothing against a Floyd Rose, but to gut a vintage Mustang like this is just wrong.

Surely the Mustang body isn't thick enough for a Floyd Rose, though? Will the block not be sitting proud of the back of the guitar?
No, because this Floyd is top-mounted rather than recessed.
It's still going to be close. A Mustang is what, 1 1/5"? A Floyd block is about four centimetres. hmmmm. I suppose it's floating quite a bit.

I want a Mustang so bad.
The Floyd, I suppose it has some possibilities for a crazy 'dive'.
But besides that the guitar looks very very very nice.
Really like Mustangs. (and Jaguars,mm)

Yeah mustangs just don't look right with a floyd in them, its like a small car with obnoxiously large wheels on it or something.
