Sorry about the delay, I really like it. I also did some other pot mods too and in combination with those, its the best you can do without having an electronic EQ. I would do an demo, but cobascis fried my amp.Phil O'Keefe wrote:How do you like it / how's it working for you Berto?

I've been busy working on my 71 Compstang's fiesta red refinish. Tough color - it is a bit more "transparent" than the Sea Foam Green, and it takes a lot of layers / coats to properly and evenly cover the white primer.
Nice FIESTA RED is probably my second or third favorite Fender color of all time. That will look awesome I'm sure! I just started working on my CVC Andy Summers Tele. Just received my Armadillo brass bridge. Still needs some adjustment and now I really need a Fender neck because the Squier's nut is cut horribly and the high E slips over the side of the frets when I'm playing out into no man's land. It's a shame because the rest of the neck is beautiful.
Any ideas where I can get a Fender 60's slim C shape, but in all maple?

For a short scale? Good luck... Fender basically didn't make 24" scale necks with maple fingerboards until the mid / late 70s, and if I remember correctly, it was only an option on later year model Mustangs - I don't think they ever offered maple boards on late 70s Musicmasters. Either way, there's not a lot of Fender made 24" scale maple fingerboard necks out there. They made maple boards back in the mid to late '50s, but those were all 22.5" scale Musicmaster / Duo Sonic necks.
If you just have to have a maple board, I'd recommend getting a new neck from Warmoth or someone like that. Or keep an eye on Ebay - and once you reach 50 posts, the classifieds here. But I wouldn't hold my breath on one showing up any time soon...
