NAD - Lil Dawg 59 Bassman

Post by lank81 »

7 Weeks ago I ordered this bad boy and it's finally here! 4 Alnico - 30 watt - Weber Speakers - JJ tubes, deeper cab for more growl, just a sweet freakin amp. Damn I'm in love.

Yes,
I'll get something up in the next few weeks. Crazy weekdays/ends until October but after that, oh yes.

That's beautiful - a dream amp of mine if I ever had the room.

I'm not a particular bassman fan, but lil dawg amps look awesome and are nearly affordable, at least compared to the Fende rtweeds. I nearly bought one altough it would have cost about 100 shippung, not to mention taxes. waiting for a demo too :)

I'll get a demo here in the next couple of weeks. Anything in particular? I get some nice Frusicante Clean sounds and a great tone of Dead Leaves on the Dirty Ground. Anything in between you'd like to hear?

can't think of anything ... some nice cleans and if it's possible show how the thing sounds cranked. I think this has a presence knob? Maybe how that works out, too.

Wow, these are definitely coming in at a reasonable pricepoint.
Being a Bassman man myself, provided good results to come from your demo, I might have to put some serious consideration in the Topdawg in head form.
