A friend of mine had an identical guitar branded Stella back in '97 or so but with a footy bridge (well, not really, but it moved) and tiny trapeze. I fixed down the bridge for him and played Polly on it a lot.

I may have just become aware of this but I think it's kind of funny how you photograph all your new guitars in front of those paintings of children. The girl crossing her legs is all like "why hello thar sexy new guitar" and the sad little boy saluting makes me feel as though he is already sending it off so it may fund the next purchase.

Also, your obscure guitar trivia knows no bounds. Congrats

Haha thanks, it is because my head is filled with tons of useless information.

I'm so in love with those department store guitars, shame that I've never found one that I felt right in buying.

Also, after so many threads of yours, I only just realised that the saluting kid is John Kennedy Jr.

Thanks guys!

Check out Eli "Paperboy" Reed's electrified Silvertone 604!.

Beast indeed! Congrats man...you've just hipped me to the first Gretsch I've ever wanted to own. If that thing sounds half as good as it looks, I need one.
EDIT - just watched the Youtube clip. It DOES sound great :D
