Nice bass ends, love my SX jazz bass, it really is very well made for the most part. It is pretty much the smartest deal I've ever impulsively ran with... I found my tuners to be crap at first but it turned out to be due more to a badly cut nut, I ended up tapping it out and replacing the whole thing because it wasn't flat on the bottom and didn't fill the gap properly so it kinda tilted towards the headstock. I didn't like my stock pickups either.

Is yours actually white or a peeled banana like mine?

deeeez !!

but try to find the 105-50 gauge, the heavier bottom string is totally worth it. nickelplated steel will make it sound more ballsy and more 'clang' while keeping the warmth of nickel.

remember I have no bass amp, and no idea how to play bass. Just wanted to see if I could get that 90's noise rock sound with it.
