I've played them a few times, and they certainly surprised me. Generally when I think low-wattage amps, I think muddy - but this was really clean and sharp, if I remember correctly.

As far as how this forum regards them, I think Mike had nothing but good things to say about them a while ago.

I test drove one before I ordered my modified Valve Junior, while it sounded pretty nice - the rattling turned me away. From what I've read that's now resolved and there are several know methods of fixing the previous generation of C5s
