Squier Venus - £400?

Post by argylelewis »

Is £400 a good deal for a black 6 string Venus? Not that I have the cash to purchase it anyway but someone here may be interested. I just wondered what the going rate for these is these days?

I'd pay £250, max.

That's like what, $850? Way too much.

I might consider that for a 12 String Venus, but only if its was mint and even then that's still too high.

Definitely too much. The £ to $ conversion ^ above isn't really worth taking into consideration, for the obvious reason that we're always bumped, rareish and used or not.

I'd agree with the £250 as a reasonable deal. Unlikely to ever find one for that though.

I don't think I've ever seen one for less than £350, I haven't got the money for it anyway so I definitely won't be going for it. It does look a very nice guitar though :)

Lots of the Vista Series guitars are going for too much money right now because they are rare.

My Supersonic was £250 (albeit it was pretty beat up) but that's the price I'd expect to pay for a Vista. Some of the prices on these models are insane though.

I paid £200 for my Venus around a year ago. Well worth it. It has best neck of any of my guitars. If that was the 12-string version for £400 I'd be all over it.
