I've measured the body and it seems to be the same distance from the neck pocket to the bridge as a standard Strat.I tried an old Squier (full sized) neck I had, and not only did it fit, but after measuring it out, it would intonate with stock bridge as is.
My question is this, would one of the Dou-Sonic,Mustang,Bronco or Jag necks also fit and give me a 24" scale, and intonate as well?If so, it would barely be any longer, but would much more playable.I kept meaning to measure the Mustang neck but fooled around and the guy moved away
Now the mini neck is 20 fret, and I don't know if that makes any difference. If anyone knows if this will work or has access to measure the guitars and necks in question, I'd really appreciate it.I fully expect at some point to have to build this thing, and that's ok, I can hack it, but the curiosity of whether this is possible "as is" is bugging me.If anyone needs any measurements from me, let me know what and where.
Sorry for the long post,
Dave
