i was looking at ac30 handwired heads, about $1300 + shipping on ebay

it got me thinking, how would a rhodes sound through that, and for that matter, is there another fender that would cost less but still sound great? you get trem + verb with fender, but a very different sound.

my bassman 10 does some pretty good cleans but dirties up a bit faster than my 68 drip edge.
and lately i have been thinking of letting the bassman 10 go(again)

I like the way my Rhodes sounds through my 50 Watt Bassman. It gets plenty of headroom. When the folks at the Fender factory were building the pianos, they tested them through Twin Reverbs.
