Hannah Montanna guitar!
I have the chance to pick one of these bad boys up for 20 bucks. Loving shortscales and telecasters, how could I go wrong?
It says 3/4 scale but does anyone know the actual scale of the guitar? I'm probably just going to replace the pots/switch/pickups and give it new paint job.
Any clever ideas for the paint?

I'm sure you can find on sale tele pickups at GuitarFetish for cheap as hell, spend like 80 on electronics, and I'd personall cheaply spray paint that ugly fucker for like 40 bucks. Nothing professional.

40 bucks? A can of auto paint and clearcoat will do it for under $20.Lucamo wrote:I'm sure you can find on sale tele pickups at GuitarFetish for cheap as hell, spend like 80 on electronics, and I'd personall cheaply spray paint that ugly fucker for like 40 bucks. Nothing professional.

Its a piece of shit dude. It is'nt meant for players, its a novelty guitar aimed at children. BUILD A GUITAR. Make your dream 24" scale Tele, tread the path of many a shortscale posterportugalwillie wrote:how could I go wrong?

I'm pretty sure it's the same guitar as my brother's camp rock guitar, other than the fact that it's set up like a tele.
He got it for $20 on clearance at target too. It's surprisingly a pretty decent guitar. It plays and feels pretty nice. I'd put it on par with the squier bullet/affinity series. I say do it. Worst case scenario you can return it or flip it for the same price you paid.
