Hannah Montanna guitar!

Post by SKC Willie »

I have the chance to pick one of these bad boys up for 20 bucks. Loving shortscales and telecasters, how could I go wrong?

It says 3/4 scale but does anyone know the actual scale of the guitar? I'm probably just going to replace the pots/switch/pickups and give it new paint job.

Any clever ideas for the paint?

Haha. That is a good idea. What is wood like?

No idea about the real scale.

I'm sure you can find on sale tele pickups at GuitarFetish for cheap as hell, spend like 80 on electronics, and I'd personall cheaply spray paint that ugly fucker for like 40 bucks. Nothing professional.

40 bucks? A can of auto paint and clearcoat will do it for under $20.

Its a piece of shit dude. It is'nt meant for players, its a novelty guitar aimed at children. BUILD A GUITAR. Make your dream 24" scale Tele, tread the path of many a shortscale poster ;)

I'm pretty sure it's the same guitar as my brother's camp rock guitar, other than the fact that it's set up like a tele.

He got it for $20 on clearance at target too. It's surprisingly a pretty decent guitar. It plays and feels pretty nice. I'd put it on par with the squier bullet/affinity series. I say do it. Worst case scenario you can return it or flip it for the same price you paid.

Do it. for that kinda money it's also ok to give it away to a kid someone around you have one day on a birthday it might have one day or whatever. I'd love to rock that thing on stage. But here they cost almost as much as Squier Bullet Strats.
