I asked 5 people at work which colour they preferred and every single one went for the wood grain over the gold.

Its tearing me apart. Gold OR Honeyburst????

Thanks! I got grief from some Les Paul folks on other forums because it is just a cheap Studio but still I think it is pretty cool.

Here is a 1973 Deluxe(Left) next to my Studio 50s Tribute(right).

really what are the differences? The original has a maple top and binding? For about 1/3rd of the price I'd say yours looks every bit as good as the 73 on the left

looks nice!

the studio has a maple top too. and a nashville bridge (better than TOM IMO). I believe the '73 deluxe has the multipiece maple neck w/ volute.

very nice, WTR.

the back doesn't look to be stained dark as i'd prefer it, but finish looks amazing!

Haha Thanks! I don't know if I will really get the second one. I just had to try to see it the link I posted above really worked. It does so now I have another on order. We'll see if I ever actually get it.

Maybe I will put a Mr Horspower sticker on.

What do you think about the idea of putting Mini Humbuckers in the second Goldtop?

I'd prefer the P90s myself but if you're going to have two why not?

Something about trapezoid inlays without fretboard binding doesn't sit well with me.
