This may run me afoul of purists, but I thought I'd share my newly modified 65 re-issue. Stripped of switches, stripped of bridge pickup and with a SD Little 59 at the neck.

I really only use the neck pickup on my guitars anyways . . .
But if the guitar has two pickups, why take one out? I just don't see an advantage to it and if even if you don't use it, it is nice to have it there on those just in case moments .
Either way, mustangs are RAD

It's still in the shop (because I'm afraid of soldering guns).
My other guitar is a Junior, which means I've covered the waterfront via two guitars: the Junior gives me a bridge single. The Mustang gives me a neck humbucker. Of course, both are easily combined in a single guitar, but there something about building a toolbox that I like.
