We've all seen high dollar Mustangs - I've seen some compstangs in the $3K+ range... well, here's one that actually might have justification to collectors for a high dollar price tag:

Built by Bill Carson for his son Scott. 100% original, with original case and signed letter from Bill. For those who are not familiar with Fender's history, Bill was a country-western artist and early Fender endorser, and one of the guys who contributed to the design and early field testing of the Strat. He went on to work for Fender, eventually spending about 40 years with the company.

problem is, it just looks like a bog standard dakota red mustang with clearcoat all over the fretboard. needs SPRAKLEZ.

Look at any Rickenbacker...bubinga, but varies from lighter to darker. The darker looks like medium Indian Rosewood. With polished frets, it's yummy to look at. An acquired taste in playing...
