New MBM Youtube, Your Demos needed

Post by Mike »

If you've ever done a video demo of one of my pedals, can you upload it to mediafire and give me a link so I can add it to my madebymikepedals youtube account?

I've currently got all my old and grundy demos up there but some of you guys have made better demos than I ever have.

For anyone interested:

Will have a bash at demo'ing the One Knob Fuzz this week hopefully matey; will even use the DSL50 for TOTAL VALVE WARMTH TONEZ. I do need to replace the volume pot in my Strat though, so I'll be able to turn it down for less gain and all that jazz.

Nice cheers mate.

BTW for anyone who doesn't have their videos anymore, you can download them for your youtube accounts by clicking on "My Videos" and doing "Download as MP4".

If you're using firefox there's an excellent addon called downloadhelper that will download .flv and the like. That'll take stuff off youtube. Having downloaded it, there's an excellent converter for windows called SUPER that'll convert pretty much anything to pretty much anything.

You can also use these websites and copy/paste the URL and it will download them for you

I just finished my Daphne Baja Tele project, so I will try to film a demo of my Saltbreaker/Saltbooster and Fuzzface pedals while I am demoing the guitar. Cheers!

I am excited things are going well Mike.

The addon is called dowloadhelper and the converter is called SUPER. The addon installs in the usual way, the converter is a bit of a bollocks, as I seem to remember the site has you click through about eight pages before it gives you the actual download link.

I made several attempts at demoing my MBM Combo and Fuzzface with my Flip HD Camera on Saturday, but I wasn't thrilled with the sound. I am going to try to record in iMovie using my Mbox2 and see it that comes out better. I am not sure if I ever sent you a shot of the pedals on my Pedaltrain, so here they are.

Got room for a couple more I reckon in the future.
