GuitarMill necks

I really wouldn't have a whole lot of problem with that, but even a right handed JS is more expensive than just sorting out the exact specs and having these made. I want two of them, one for a SuperSonic style guitar and one for a Bronco, so I'd like to have the exact info so I can have these made whenever. These that I've priced out are $210 roughly, with the pearl dot inlays. That's cheaper than any Jagstang I've found.robroe wrote:stupid question. whats wrong with just getting a righty JS neck and bolting it on what ever you have...it will end up looking like a supersonic in style
Rob, you've owned JS's before, would you say the shape is more like a C shape then?

I confirmed that there's no extra charge for this with GuitarMill, so I'm looking at about $210 + shipping for the neck. Not a bad deal at all. I'm going to place the order when I get my next paycheck. I'll update once I have it in my hands.

They finally, FINALLY fucking delivered my neck. I had them ship it to my work since it's hard to get stuff sent to my house, they always deliver when I'm at work.
I'll post pics when I get home from work. Despite taking fucking forever to crank it out, and being unfinished (I didn't want the extra charge for it) I am mostly impressed with it. There's one side dot that seems a bit off, but otherwise the feel of this thing is amazing.

Once I get tuners and a nut for it I was planning to slap it on my Jag for a bit until I have the cash to get the body made.Thom wrote:Good news. Glad it feels good. Interested to hear what you think when it is finished. What guitar are you putting it on?
The goal is this:

Put a single coil in that and put a clear finish on it and it's my ole salvaged Mustang I'm buying off my best friend .
And #1 on that being cool.

Hey, nah I don't yet have the funds for having the body made yet. I finish-sanded it as it was a tad rough on the backside and I am still shopping for lefty Kluson tuners that don't cost an outrageous amount. Unfortunately this project will be a slow one.Thom wrote:Pens - was curious as to whether you were using this neck yet?
And if so then what do you think?

I did find a local luthier who will make the lefty Bronco body unfinished for $400...I get so sick of being ass-raped by these places so I have put that one on hold. I need to settle my tax issues and get a better car before dropping that kind of change.
