I love that picture of Thunders. I have a compelling urge to buy another Junior everytime i see it, i had the 'Lite' model with two Soapbars.
Gibson prices are ridiculous though, if i had the money i'd go for an Edwards.

Introduced in 1954 as an entry-level version of the Les Paul, the Les Paul Junior graduated from kids' bedrooms to club and arena stages through the course of three decades as it became a favorite not only with beginners, but with professional players, too. In 1958 this bare-bones electric was updated with a double-cutaway body for improved upper-fret access, and this incarnation of the Junior became a particular favorite with punk and garage rockers forever after. The Les Paul Junior Doublecut pays homage to this austere classic.
i mean, c'mon!

I've long entertained the idea of getting a Gordon Smith - think, if they can do what I want (effectively a white LP Jr. with a fat as fuck neck and a couple of tarty cosmetic appointments) then I'll sell the SG (and maybe the Baja).
Jam Guitars near me always have Gordon Smiths in. They look great for the price. Sounds interesting, I didn't know they would take orders like that. A mate of mine in Manchester is on the look out for "the one" so I might let him know to get in touch with them
