Jcyphe used to post it now and then to drop science on old Yamaha models....I had a link but lost it a few hard drives back.
There's a neat looking mosrite-esque semi hollow with humbuckers and a bigsby style trem at goodwill....they want more than I'd normally spend on a guitar at goodwill ($450....they knew enough about old yamahas to not throw a $100 price tag on it I guess) but if it happens to be some uber rare model worth $1500 I'll buy it and flip.

This is a great resource of most every Yamaha model ever made, I find myself checking it all the time when I run into Yamaha guitars.
