I'd agree with the consensus and say SHO if you don't mind that crisp bright edge while "taking it over the edge".
Along the lies of what Doog mentioned: I rarely toot the company horn online, but think you otherwise might be talking about the Moollon Signal Boost (recently described in
a UK gear blogger's review). He says pretty much what we've been hearing a lot lately, almost the same thing that both Blues Saraceno and his fuzz-building dad said at Winter NAMM 2009 about the thing: "Simply more of what you already have, just louder", without doing anything to either to the original frequencies. Micro Amp indeed seems to be sooper clean as well.
I absolutely love my "95% SHO clone" Stompleague Mini Boost and Dwarfcraft Plane Ticket for pushing with both edge and girth, respectively, but the Moollie seriously gives ultra
