I’ve been a fan of the Iceman since I went to see Jesus Jones (remember them pop pickers) at the Barras and Mike Edwards set the place on fire with an Iceman...

I'm sure they play and sound great but they look horrible.
I actually really like System of a Down, especially up to and including Steal This Album. I also kind of like how Icemans (Icemans? Icemen?) look, although I can't imagine myself playing one. The SOAD albums where Daron Malakian mainly plays an Iceman (Toxicity and Steal This Album I think) have some amazing guitar sounds. IIRC he played a Strat on most of the first album and an SG on most of the last two. I did also hear he sometimes uses a Jazzmaster which is pretty cool.

I'm with freddy. Icemen(?) have a certain charm to them.

I'm with these guys, I used to love SOAD and they really got me into guitar. I have always loved the look of an Iceman and if I ever want to play metal again I would probably buy one.
There are only two guitar designs that aren’t derived / stolen from Fender or Gibson that I rate: the Iceman and the BC Rich Mockingbird. But I’m not metal enough to own either...
