Steve,
Nothing wrong with putting it at the end. Depending on your signal chain it might be best to boost at the end to strengthen your signal.

The SHO is a great pedal but so damn expensive. I enjoy boost pedals but I enjoy treble boosters a whole lot more. Specifically the HBE Germania. That thing just sounds oh sooooo good but its not for everyone.

I think the Micro Amp is great. It does what it's supposed to, clean boost, but it does add some top end sparkle. Not that that's a bad thing. The Fulltone Fatboost is a good choice as well as you can use it for a boost or OD. A very transparent OD that can be used as a clean boost as well is the Barber LTD. Finally, if you want versatility check out the MXR 10 band EQ. Sweet pedal.

That is all.

Anyone have experience with the BBE Boosta Grande? It seems to have good reviews online, but I've never used/heard BBE's products before.

It's only about $50 which is why I ask.
