I own a standard LP Junior and I would like to replace the wraparound with a stop/TOM combo. Similar to the Lennon/Marley mods. Can anyone explain how this is done?

(Sorry - I realize this is diverting the thread - feel free to send a PM)

Couldn't resist. It ended up only costing only $770

Bob Marley(or his guitar tech) removed the wraptail, put wooden dowels in the holes, then drilled new ones for an and abr-1 and tail piece

Apparently, according to a guy on Les Paul Forum, there were 2: One is a 1957 Special and the other was made around 1972.
